SINGAPORE ~ A team of students from Singapore has won a major international prize for developing a computer software that makes for a cleaner environment.
Calling themselves the Trailblazers, the students developed a program called Environmental Monitoring System (EMS) and entered it in the Imagine Cup Embedded Development competition.

SOME 257 secondary schools across Thailand have registered for the Schools Ecological Footprint Challenge 2008, the project organiser said in a statement issued on Thursday.
