SINGAPORE ~ Indonesia has signed a contract allowing Korean interests free use of an extensive length of coastline to cultivate feedstock for the production of biofuel for automobiles.

LEADING members of non-government organisations (NGOs) from more than 40 countries are expected to gather in South Korea next month for the World NGO Conference on Wetlands.
The conference will be held in Changnyeong and Suncheon from October 25-27 immediately prior to COP10, the 10th Conference of the Contracting Parties of the Switzerland-based Ramsar Convention.
