THE Energy Market Authority (EMA) promotes competition in the electricity and piped gas industry and maintains the security and reliability of the power system in Singapore.
Formed on 1st April 2001, EMA is a statutory board under Ministry of Trade and Industry that regulates the electricity and gas industry and district cooling services in designated areas.
